Estimated calories burned

325 kcal

294 kcal of that is active, above what you would burn resting for the same time.

About 650 kcal per hour.

Average speed 10 km/h, about 10.5 METs. Uses your age, sex and height.

How calories burned are estimated

Average speed, from distance and time, sets an intensity in METs, a metabolic equivalent, from published activity tables; walking and running also use the ACSM incline equations. Calories equal MET × resting burn × minutes. With your age, sex and height the tool uses your own Mifflin-St Jeor resting rate. Without all three it uses the standard population average of 3.5 mL of oxygen per kilogram per minute. Active calories subtract the resting burn over the same minutes. This is the model the One Fitness Hub workout log uses.

What this estimate cannot see

It covers steady cardio from distance and time. It does not estimate lifting, intervals, sport or swimming. Fitness level, terrain, wind, technique and the machine you use all change real energy use, so a watch, a treadmill display and this page will rarely agree. Treat the number as a rough guide, not a measurement.

Common questions.

What is the difference between total and active calories?

Total calories are everything your body burns during the activity, including what it would have burned at rest. Active calories subtract that resting burn over the same minutes, which leaves the extra energy the activity added.

Why does my watch show a different number?

Watches use heart rate and their own models, and cardio machines use rough formulas. Each estimate has its own error, so they rarely match. Use one source consistently to compare your own sessions.

Which activities does it cover?

Walking, running, cycling, rowing machine, elliptical and stair climber, because those are the activities the app turns distance and time into calories for. It does not cover lifting, sport or swimming.
